This tie-dye trend is really growing on me...maybe because it makes me nostalgic. I remember tie-dying white cotton shirts all the time when I was a kid, either at summer camp or at home. I would tie the shirt up all randomly with rubber bands, then dip it in a bunch of different colored dyes. As a kid, I would always choose purple or red. Nowadays I would probably choose black or grey! How times have changed.

The title of my post reminded me of this Arctic Monkeys song (I love these guys):

There was a solar eclipse today, did anyone else get to witness it?? Really cool. Is it true that if you want to look at it you can wear 2 pairs of sunglasses? I got some special disposable eclipse sunglasses to view it but I was just wondering if that was true.

I'm in the process of redecorating my apartment. We just got a new couch, I finished painting my skateboard deck, and today the bf and I picked out some frames for our Amsterdam and Japan photos. I'll share some pics once I'm done :)

I also started slowly redecorating my closet yesterday, although I need to organize my clothes really badly (hence the lack of clothes in the photos), but here's a sneak peek of the progress so far:

This outfit is perfect for the latest SF weather, which has been sunny with a hint of windiness. It's definitely not summer weather over here yet, sadly!

I feel like I always wear the same rings...but I just can't part with them sometimes. Both of the ones I'm wearing here are turquoise stones, 1 is ancient (dark green) and 1 is newer (usual turquoise color). I also wore a sterling silver bracelet that I got in New Mexico. I can't wait to go back there, it's such a beautiful place. Here's an old post with photos from my trip there.

I just got this collar necklace in the mail that I ordered from Gypsy Warrior, it's so cute! I love the little heart in the middle of the collar. I also got my hair dip dyed grey again, I like the way it turned out better than last time because there is more grey, which is always good :)

I apologize for the "mean" looking faces in some of my outfit photos, it's merely just me trying to open my eyes in the blaring sunlight!

I like wearing this plaid shirt because it's versitile, I can wear it by itself with leggings when I am just feeling casual, or I can pair it with a long black cardigan and dark jeans for work.
